After celebrating their massive 20th anniversary last year and Sven Vath’s 50th birthday, Timewarp are back at their original stomping ground in Manheim. Again, Timewarp have pulled no punches in booking one of the strongest lineups found at a day event. Top draw bookings are covered with the likes of Loco Dice, Ritchie Hawtin, Carl Cox, Marco Carola, Ricardo Villalobos and of course Sven Vath, Timewarp also have the much acclaimed trio of Seth Troxler B2B The Martinez Brothers (Tuskagee), tINI, Rodhad and the worlds number one jock Dixon.

Eastern Electrics – 1st August 2105

At the time of going to press, Eastern Electrics had not announced any artists for their 2015 festival, but safe to say that going by last years sprawling lineup its going to be big. Last year EE produced an all encompassing array of artists over 7 bespoke stages covering most permeations of house and techno. With EE putting huge amounts of effort in to each stage and the décor they use to give a very distinct feel to each area, not to mention artists like Ellen Allien, Mano Le Tough, tINI, Kerri Chandler, Daniel Avery and Route 94 to name just a few of the top jocks playing at the Hatfield House one dayer. Keep your eyes peeled for artist announcements, which are due to drop imminently – you wont be disappointed.

Sonus Festival – 16th – 20th August 2015

With combined experience covering events such as Timewarp, Love Family Park & Fade In, the joint promotion team of Cosmopopp and Sonus know a thing or two about throwing techno parties Pairing the biggest techno artists such as Loco Dice, Ritchie Hawtin, Sven Vath, Luciano, Zip and Apollonia with the unrivalled beach setting of Pag Island in Croatia is certainly a winning combination as Sonus Festival has emerged as a true force in the summer beach festival circuit. Also expect after parties, boat parties and the usual spur of the moment madness found at Sonus.

Awakenings – 27th & 28th June 2015

When details emerged of Awakenings monstrous lineup for the 2015 installment, many had to retrieve their jaw from the ground. Once this had passed, the realization set in that this is what Awakenings do. They go big with their lineups and they do it so well, all the usual massive artists are there – Sven Vath, Ritchie (who will close Area W & Y on each respective day) Tale of Us, Loco Dice and Luciano but they have also incorporated less obvious choices in the form of Scuba, Boddika, Julio Bashmore and Kolsch A welcome inclusion given the all out techno assault in most areas of the sprawling outdoor locale of Spaarnwoude. With this being Awakenings flag ship event of their yearly touring schedule, expect only the best atmosphere and next level festival styling.

Melt! 17th – 19th July 2015

Another major player in the summer festival circuit, Melt! choose not to conform to the usual electronic festival guidelines and instead colour outside of the lines for a more fuller festival experience, just check out the post industrial back drop of huge machinery. Sure they have the likes of Chris Liebing, Nina Kraviz and Sven Vath but they also look at the less obvious modes of dance music such as Kylie Minogue, Giorgio Moroder and Roni Size to add a bit of a different flavor to the usual four to the floor fayre. Returning for its 4th year, Melt! stalwarts Modeselektor present their own Melt!Selektor beach side stage, here the German duo curate a very special lineup in keeping with their own musical ethos, artists include Bonobo (DJ Set), Dorian Concept, The Bug, the lads own collaboration with Siriusmo and legendary electronic music pioneers Autchre. Expect more artists to be announced in the coming months, but Melt! 2015 is already shaping up to one of the stand out events of the summer.
