Tell us about your latest track on Leftroom Misunderstood, hows the response been ?

Amazing thanks mate, its great to be on a label like Matts.It ‘s a slightly different direction for me as well. I have taken a more
underground option and it shows people I have a lot of versatility. The response itself was great, I really think it was a great idea for Mixmag to take it on board as an exclusive so I thanks them for that.

What was your idea behind the track ?

I think it was to delve away from the normality of what I was doing and like I said to show people that I wasn ‘t just a commercial artist. Other than that there is no real inclination to anything else .I just wanted to push something to the underground market.

Tell us about your latest track on Leftroom Misunderstood, hows the response been ?

What was your idea behind the track ?

I know you worked on a remix for MK earlier in the year too, what was like to remix a legend in the game ?

You know really cool.I didn ‘t really get chance to meet him properly at the time but it was great to work with someone like that.You always need to be on your top game with someone like that.Saying that, I actually don ‘t really like the remix, looking back that is.

You ‘re one of the highlights on 2014, as the year has grown do you feel more pressure when making music or performing as people are seeing you as one of the main acts ?

Yeah of course.Its been a bit of world wind so I haven ‘t really thought about it like that until recently but I guess thats what can happen when I did some of the commercial styles.I think the pressure comes from the critics looking at our every move as the fans generally are always on your side.Its a great way to better yourself though as it generates a platform to improve.

Hows the summer been in general ? where have you enjoyed playing ?

Wow there has been so many shows to be honest, but being on tour in general has always been a dream of mine so to pick out one particular
show would be wrong.Being at the festivals has been great and a new platform for me.Playing over in Ibiza is always a pleasure and never gets boring, so I ‘d say that.

Are you a fan of festival season compared to the more intimate shows ?

You know the more intimate the better for me.I like the fact that with the intimate shows the fans are generally there just to see you so you can connect.The atmosphere is almost better so to speak because they are all watching and listening to you as apposed to wondering which artist they will be heading next to see next.

You played at the WAR event in September in Ibiza for Rinses 20th anniversary, that ones should be a huge show, you looking forward to that ?

Of course.The WAR events have been getting huge publicity so to have a Rinse show to celebrate the anniversary was great.The line up was awesome too.I think they are very fitting brands and marry well together with the venue too plus the crowd went absolutely mental.

Whats your thoughts on Rinse as whole now, nearly in its 20th year and now a fully fledged station.Why do you think its so popular ?

Amazing, its great to be a part of the brand and the fact they have made 20 years is a true testament.I think they are so popular because they are always looking for new boundaries to push and are always looking to think outside the box.The music and talent coming out of the station right now is really on point and covers a lot of genres which never gets boring like other channels.

Do you have anything we can look forward to release / schedule wise ?

I do have a few things in the pipeline which I can ‘t release right now but stay tuned on my facebook for more details.I ‘m playing back in UK in October for outbreak festival over in Coventry so that will be one festival to look out for.The line up is really really good.
