The Russian duo VOLAC are back with another firing tune, this time on CUFF, the label of Amine Edge & DANCE. Volac are the latest in a line of fresh artists from the CUFF conveyer belt, and with a pair of killer cuts, they draw on a house style that is muscular and designed to make you dance. Volac show their unique style in cartoon comics, which present each podcast called ‘VOLACAST’ and all releases.

Uzi is a popping house tune with kicking drums, tinkling piano keys and rude vocals that make you want to move. Soulful pads off set the power of the drums and a great breakdown builds drama before a nice deep drum drop.

What is it about the record that will appeal to the fans?

  1. We tried to appeal to the fans only by new stuff which they have not listened. Something which they don’t expect from us.

How does it differ from your last release?

  1. Before the “UZI” EP we already released collaboration track ‘In A Club’ with “Illusionize”. They are too different but similar in spirit and united by one VOLAC style, hehe

What was the inspiration for this release?

  1. We’ve got the inspiration from everything: from friends, from family, from what is happening around our life.

If you had the chance to play this in any club, which would it be?

  1. We already played ‘UZI’ in Green Valley / Brazil. It was a small dream for us to play there. Now we would love to play UZI in Exchange Club / LA. It would be cool for us! J
