“We Move Together” is a concept t-shirt put together as a community effort from the DnB scene to raise money to help combat and dismantle systemic racism within the industry and society as a whole.

We are asking for your logo and your support, this can happen in one of three ways:

1. Give us permission to use your logo on the T-Shirt, share and promote the product on your social channels.

2. Use of logo, social channel posting and sale on your individual web shop.

3. All of the above as well as becoming part of the board to decide where the funds will be spent. Be available to take part in panels and give time to educate and tutor young BAME promoters, producers, djs and other industry students.

There will be a run of t-shirts and hoodies printed on sustainable and recycled material which is guaranteed not to be a product of slave labour or exploitation. 100% of all profits raised will go to charity; including key organisations like The Stephen Lawrence Foundation, Black Minds Matter UK, black music charities (TBC) and American bail support charities like The Bail Project. We are open to further suggestions on recipients and will split the funding as the board sees fit by manner of voting.

The exact numbers of t-shirts, stats and sales will be available to all labels that contribute. Any future plans will be agreed and actioned by anyone involved in the board.

A global pandemic and strict lockdown regulations. The first few months of 2020 left clubs and artists alike facing an unprecedented challenge. One initiative, titled “Away To”, has challenged the status quo by hosting a new series of socially distant parties. “Away To” makes it a point to adhere to safety measures while giving party goers and online surfers a breath of fresh air, a stream to look forward to and a party to attend!

The initiative saw two emerging content platforms partner up to pioneer a new form of partying that’s more suited for the times. The first is Vuse, a brand determined to support the creative scene of the region. So much so that they’ve created their own platform, Creative State, dedicated to encouraging artists to stay active despite difficult circumstances. 

The second is Late Knights, a content platform by Factory People – that documents alternative local and international artists, giving a real look into the music scene in the Middle East through documentaries, features and concerts.

Over the course of 3 months, the platform transformed from hosting regional & international DJs broadcasting live sets from their home to exceptionally produced socially distant parties.

The strategic shift saw both platforms dedicate their efforts to high quality production, enhanced physical and visual experiences, and of course, beautiful venues as the cherry on top. With their now-household series “Away to” – Late Knights and Creative State by Vuse was ready to take the world by storm.

Besides shedding light on young talent and introducing one of the first socially distanced dancefloors, each one of the “Away To” parties are set in different obscure, yet, magnificent locations. Every venue is a handpicked hidden gem where the DJ booth is at the heart, surrounded by eager ravers moving to its beat.

Groove Cruise returns for yet another Virtual Sail Aways Live to benefit those facing hardships due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Miami, FL (July 9, 2020) – Whet Travel, the leader in independent music cruise experiences, announced yet another Groove Cruise Virtual Sail Aways Live weekend filled with electronic dance music to benefit the Whet Foundation’s COVID-19 Relief Fund coming July 17-19, 2020. The traveling entertainment company began their crusade to give back to their 16-year-old community in April of this year. To date, they have raised almost $40,000 in which 100% of their profits have been returned to those facing hardships during the pandemic. For their fifth, charity-focused, live stream event, Groove Cruise returns with 30+ DJs and artists, a super tech hub, 100% live performances and mixed visuals, and a brand new after hours called Night Swim – this is where viewers tend to stay up all night together and the late night DJs play 10+ hour sets! Oh, and don’t forget the #GCFAM zoom parties filled with up to 500 people!

The Whet Foundation COVID-19 Relief Fund will ease the financial burden of artists experiencing hardships, “Captains” who have sailed with Whet Travel, health workers keeping us safe, former employees, contractors, and partner companies that have laid off employees, and that of our extended friends and family. The COVID-19 Relief Fund provides tax-free funds for any number of hardships; including unanticipated healthcare costs, rent or mortgage payments, utility expenses, food, medicine, and other necessities. Anyone, including online viewers, experiencing hardships during COVID-19 are able to apply for the grant program application directly on the Groove Cruise website. The previous Groove Cruise Virtual Sail Aways have raised $37,031 for those facing hardships from the pandemic; to date, over 150 Groove Cruise Captains have been sent relief, alongside 250 protective face shields delivered to multiple hospitals in South Florida. Whet Travel states their goal is to send out their third round of relief grants, with over $150,000 in grants requested as of today.

Festivities will kick off on Friday, July 17, 2020, and the weekend will see headlining talent from the likes of Christina Novelli, Nurko, Halogen, Mesto, Futuristic Polar Bears, and many more! The Groove Cruise Virtual Sail Aways events hold themselves at a high standard as all performances on the platform are performed and streamed live, from all over the world; including acoustic sets and DJ donation incentives like awarding virtual meet and greets! Groove Cruise’s previous virtual extravaganza saw over 100,000 viewers across all platforms, their main one being the Groove Cruise twitch channel. Their team has expressed nothing, but excitement to give their music loving community a good time and more support as things with COVID-19 have not yet let up. 

This online music festival will also feature Whet Travel’s interactive WhetZoom video chat room for viewers to watch, dance, and donate together, simulating an in person Groove Cruise sailing. Up to 500 #GCFAM are able to video chat together on the platform. This feature is special because it gives viewers a truly human connection and an essential interaction alongside the show. Despite the current state of the world, a small brand with a strong local following decided to do what everyone else was afraid of doing, and that was to keep the good times rolling in a world filled with as many uncertainties as ever. So, coming out of lockdown, BSH Events had one goal, and one goal only, and that was to never stop dancing despite the music industry taking a massive hit, as most festivals around the world have been postponed until 2021. 

Undeniably, the cards were stacked against this Croatian brand, which has been throwing some of the best parties at some of the unique locations across the country since 2013. For a brand that has gained a loyal fanbase thanks to their unique approach to venue selection as well as a genuine love for music, scaling up to a project, this initiative seemed very ambitious. Not to mention they had to make sure that the festival abides by all epidemiological measures necessary. 

But nonetheless, the BSH boys got to work and against all the odds setting up a star-studded 4-day long BSH Island music festival in beautiful Croatia, on the amazing Island of Pag lasting from the 9th until the 12th of July. Island locals have dubbed Croatia’s Ibiza due to its beautiful beaches and amazing nightlife, bound to take any visitor on an unforgettable musical journey. 

The same island whose clubs on Zrce Beach have raised generations of ravers and party enthusiasts ever since the opening of Kalypso in 1987. The same club that will be hosting the official BSH Island Afterparties, along with the festival’s main venue Noa Beach Club, a club that literally stands on water, and features a newly built and already sold-out Noa Glamping Resort, whose luxurious villas with swimming pools and a breath-taking view of the Adriatic, will be accommodating the festival attendees. Throughout its younger history, the club has hosted reputable festivals such as Sonus and Hideout and had some of the world’s most famous artists perform there. 

The artists ready to rock the house this summer’s BSH Island festival at Noa Beach Club are nothing short of spectacular, to say the least… The festival’s main headliners are international superstars, the likes of ARTBAT, Paco Osuna, Richy Ahmed, and Honey Dijon. 

In addition to that, the festival’s opening will be headlined by Manchester-based brand, Kaluki, whose performances are in demand from Ibiza to Miami. On top of bringing us one of the headliners in Richy Ahmed, they are bringing along Pirate Copy, Joey Daniel, Ki Creighton, and BSH Events’ own, Pablo Panda. Kaluki are frequent guests at some of the most popular festivals such as Parklife in England, the BPM Festival held this year in Costa Rica, and many others. Their debut in Croatia could potentially mean more Ibiza based brands coming to Croatia.

In an effort to expand on the musical experience, BSH Events has involved Under No Illusion Recordings, which will also showcase the likes of Andrew Meller, Tolstoi, and Viktor on top of a special Pirate Copy b2b Ki Creighton show. 

Supporting the star-studded lineup will be upcoming local artists listed in no particular order such as PEZNT, Aldo Morro, Dea Tosh, Tom Bug, Goran Starcevic, Full ferry, Yakka, Inav Coste, Kali, Mike&Me, Mony, Tino Simich, Urban Pfeifer, DJ Jock, Shipe, Senno, Sin, Sonnet, Halaus, Neroa b2b Damian Leboss, and Stanky Baby. Some of these artists will be showcasing their tunes on Sunday at Mixmag Adria’s daytime stage as well.

The festival has already sold more than 1500 tickets in record time. In addition to that, the total number of attendees expected is around 4000 in total, proving that the hype around BSH Island is real. And with a quality lineup on a beautiful island, it is the perfect musical experience for anyone looking to enjoy the beauties of the Croatian coast, so it is not surprising that European dance lovers are truly eager to go. 

Moreover, the festival hopes to spark the Croatian tourist economy by organizing and referring its guests to supplementary vacation activities in order to let the festival-goers explore the amazing wonders of the Adriatic Sea.

The official pre-party for the festival happened on the 21st of June at Mint Club in Zagreb and left visitors ecstatic thanks to the performance put on by British DJ and producer Richy Ahmed, who will be returning to make his BSH Island festival debut.

As of the moment of writing this press release, BSH is still actively pursuing potential partnerships and collaborations, which would make this festival’s first year even more unique, so you never know what could happen in a week or so. But one thing is sure – no one wants to miss out on the BSH Island festival debut.

A Spanish DJ and producer of techno music. Since 1999, he has been a resident DJ at the famous Amnesia club in Ibiza. He was one of the first techno DJs to play in Ibiza and is considered to be a legend in the industry. He often performs in many German cities such as Berlin and Frankfurt, which hold some of his favorite venues to which he is always happy to return.

RICHY AHMED

A British DJ and producer, with a deep underlying passion for music and people, who understands the fundamentals of what makes a dance floor tick. A veteran of many summers spent in Ibiza and an original resident of Paradise at DC10, Richy has toured the world playing some of the finest clubs and festivals around, from Panorama Bar to Space Miami and Glastonbury to Tomorrowlands, Richy is no stranger to applying his infectious ability to get people dancing.

HONEY DIJON 

A popular American musician and stage artist. She has successfully been flirting with a multitude of music genres, even though her base is the world of underground electronic music. Known for her subtle mixing skills, her almost sensuous transitions between house and techno music bring a warm, hypnotic vibe to her DJ sets. She is a frequent guest of Panorama Bar in Berlin, Sub Club in Glasgow, Block in Tel Aviv, Output in NYC, Space in Ibiza, and Smart Bar in Chicago.

This amazing casting joins La Fleur and Rodriguez JR. (live), who were both initially supposed to play on June 6th for the now postponed Boarding to Family Piknik event. The Family Piknik Music crew will also be largely involved behind the decks next to his head honchos Tom Pooks & Joy Kitikonti, with all the sparkling talents from the label itself : Abstraal, Essence of Time, Pontias b2b Mood Gorning b2b Albanø. Local acts The Dualz (live) and Bartok & Canadas will also be in action from 11 in the morning!

This new date was officially disclosed on mid-May, when French government clearly said no public gathering would be allowed until September. Since then, the Family Piknik’s team talked with Montpellier Airport (which holds a special event with them since 2018) to imagine a new hybrid event, combining their amazing location – next to the planes – with some of the key points of Family Piknik’s unique concept : open-air, day/night open hours (from 11am to 4am), pique-nique and limited capacity (5000) accordingly to the Covid-19 context. 

The big stage that was already developed for the initial July festival will be installed in the heart of a new space, much larger in size, with a breathtaking view of the slopes. After months of frustration, this party has all it needs to be a mesmerizing event ! 

« We do hope this terrible health crisis will be behind us in September because we put all our energy in this new event. We’ve suffered a lot from this crisis, like many of our friends promoters, artists and festivals. All these months of forced inactivity have a serious impact on our structure and it threatens our whole project. 24 June 2020 – On Saturday, 20 June 2020, MDLBEAST Freqways took over half a million ‘flyers’ on a high-class virtual journey across the world. The 12-hour digital music festival recorded over 600,000 attendees, 1.2 million views, and over 4 million engagements across social media channels. A trip that triggered a truly escapist feeling brought together music and culture lovers from various corners of the world, proving that today more than ever, music serves as a binding global force, connecting people around the world despite global lockdown measures. 

Saudi DJs K.LED & Majid kicked off the festival from Riyadh at 7:00pm, immediately garnering high traction and traffic from viewers regionally and globally. The next 12 hours saw viewers tune in from 185 countries including USA, Egypt, UAE, Kuwait, UK, Italy, Morocco, Spain, Oman, France and Mexico.

The 12-hour livestream included many highlights from a specially curated list of local, regional and international DJs, including Steve Aoki who played an eclectic remix of influential Arabic and Saudi songs against the vibrant backdrop of the city of Los Angeles, driving the most views as well as significant online buzz and engagement. 

A sense of wanderlust and escapism was evoked through the sets of Sasha, who played on a sailboat in front of Es Vedra in Ibiza to make for a beautiful and cinematic show, Benny Benassi who played in Vernazza and Vinyl Mode at Al Baha. On the other hand, EDM fans were able to reimagine their love for international clubs through the sets of Delano Smith, Hipp-e, Claptone and Deep Dish; while Jade x Tala played from one of Beirut’s hottest spots, The Grand Factory.

MDLBEAST made their first ever digital festival more than just a unique music experience. They also partnered with the WHO foundation, encouraging viewers to donate throughout the duration of the digital festival. All funds raised during the festival will be donated to the essential work of WHO to help countries prevent, detect and respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Much loved open-air garden Kiesgrube hosted their first safe and socially distanced gathering Stay Wild Moonchild in Duisburg, Germany thanks to a hook up with the brand new, game-changing app GRID. It proved a huge success, and followed up last Sunday June 21st with Boris Werner, Wouter S and Tapesh playing. The likes of Pan-Pot, William Djoko, Detroit Swindle, Tom Trago, Lazare Hoche, Anotr, Franky Ricardo and more all set to appear throughout summer.

Making all this possible is GRID, an app that Kiesgrube Founder Tom Preuss invested in, alongside trivago Founder Rolf Schrömgens, Vetsak Founder Max Gansow and Gastronomy Entrepreneur Walid El Scheikh.

Could this new app save the music and gastronomy industries through digitalisation? It is looking likely, and has received exceptional feedback thus far. Over the past 18-months, the team at GRID had already been working on a way to digitialize and disrupt the highly-complex offline gastronomy and events space. The newly launched app, offers a glimpse into the future of social life. GRID’s technology coupled with their long-term vision, offers a previously unheard of level of efficiency, insight, data and personalization possibilities, in an industry where none has existed before. “Safety and hygiene are of the utmost importance these days. Imagine a world in which you could check-in using your phone, where you don’t have to stand in line beside other guests, where all ordering is done contactless online, and all payments are exchanged digitally. Where there is no need to speak with a waiter, and where you could enjoy being social again, while keeping chances of contagion to an absolute minimum,” says Valentin Yeo from GRID. “When Tom came to us, we knew that we had to be fast to make this vision a reality for ‘Stay Wild Moonchild.”

Solutions already built by the GRID team pre-pandemic, could now contribute to prevent further job loss, and could be feasible immediately. It would not only be possible to provide a safe environment for restaurants, beer gardens and more, but one that goes above and beyond government safety measures. With tremendous support from the cities of Düsseldorf and Duisburg, as well as Rheinperle, Kiesgrube’s, “Stay Wild Moonchild ” is the first open-air gathering of it’s kind to safely (and digitally) open using GRID this summer.

Safety measures include:
Ticketing and Check-in is all digital, via GRID.
Drinks and snacks are ordered directly from the table, using the GRID app, and brought to the tables by hygiene-trained, mask-equipped staff. There is no need for cash to be exchanged, tipping is also done via app.
COVID-19 registration is also done via app – eliminating the need for pens and paper to be handled between staff and guests.
Wardrobe is done via app rather than via ticket stub.
Regular dance floor giving way to a new table concept, with a maximum of eight individuals allowed per table.
Mixing long drinks are a no-no,therefore bottle-only beverage service is allowed.
Masks are mandatory when entering and moving around the premises.
With two separate events happening per day (Sundays, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.); with digital ticketing and checking-in happening via the GRID app, Kiesgrube is able to regulate live the maximum number of visitors.
